How to act on your passions

Again, it seems like I might have some difficulty getting this post off the ground.
My first thought on how to act on our passions put me on the spot. Professionally trained and with a great deal of practice behind me, I have very little difficulty with my motivating techniques towards my clients. One of the skills that are used here is a little disheartening to me right now, and now it is becoming a bit of a poser. When dealing with clients, I have to distance myself from them emotionally. How true is this saying?

I have given this title on a very emotive and personal issue cryptically and, I think, creatively. I am hoping that the personal thoughts shared throughout the rest of this post does raise similar thoughts, whether agreeing with what I am sharing, or whether there is some debate about it. It should resonate well with those who consider themselves believers and strive to lead faith-based lives. I was approached now the other day by a young mother of one. She is still finding it difficult to adjust her life around being a single and working mom.

That is where I come in. That’s my job and I am here to help this young lady organise her life. Part of the way, I will be offering loads of encouragement and motivating her to dig deep towards finding new inspiration for her difficult journey in life. One of the best motivating tools I use is reminding some of my distressed clients that, yes, while their life is quite hard, do not forget that life is hard for pretty much everyone around them.
